Bengt has worked with organisations, teams and individuals looking for innovative, collaborative and sustainable ways to do things differently. He has supported decision-makers in the public and private sectors by demystifying and linking topics such as sustainability, quality, productivity, risk, the circular economy, carbon footprinting, embodied carbon, life cycle assessment, design thinking, systems thinking, collaborative working, continuous improvement and the process of innovation - from basic research to commercialisation.
Isabelle brings 15+ years experience in management consultancy and is passionate about helping businesses transform and thrive for a sustainable future. Throughout her career, she collaborated and worked with start-ups, multinationals, government bodies, universities and NGOs; helping them develop their circular and sustainable roadmaps and take the practical steps required to deliver meaningful and lasting change.
Patrick brings knowledge and experience in Business, Finance and Venture Capital. He has helped to build multiple new funds, programmes and venture studios with a strong focus on early stage, seed to growth. He comes with Atlantic-side insight, building opportunities in international development and strategic partnerships, and has expertise in company and fund formation, portfolio management, and seed, venture & growth stage investing.
David is a globally recognised circular economy expert. Vice President of Circular Economy Institute, Junior Vice President of Chartered Institution of Waste Management (CIWM), RAEng visiting Professor of Circular Economy at the University of Brighton, Executive Management Board Member of the NICER Circular Economy Hub, Strategic Advisory Board member for the University of Manchester Sustainable Future Initiatives, Non-executive Director of BIOHM.
His specialist areas include urban mining, waste flows, data modelling and analysis systems thinking. He brings vital policy and regulation expertise and insight to public sector procurement opportunities and government strategies on CE related policy, helping circular businesses navigate complex landscapes through to success.
Sophie brings decades of experience in sustainability and circular economy design and strategy. Over her professional career she has worked with multinational corporations and small start-ups, helping to generate ideas and navigate validation to success. Sophie devised and led The RSA Great Recovery Programme raising £35m for circular innovation. She brings expertise in waste and carbon data analysis with specific understanding around system design. Sophie is Director of Circular Design at Useful Projects, holds a number of board positions within circularity including WRAP and CIWM, sits on forums for innovation and policy, and judges and evaluates numerous circular, design and material based commercial competitions including IUK.
Nick’s background blends corporate and entrepreneur, crossing multiple industries including Real Estate, Investment and FMCG. He brings first-hand knowledge and experience to all stages of business – from creation to scale up, multiple fund raising stages, geographical expansion, leadership and exit. Amongst other ventures, Nick founded Tails Cocktails and sold to Bacardi the world’s largest independent spirit company. With a passion to build new businesses in the circular economy, Nick brings his intuition to innovation and early-stage ventures with investment expertise, business management, commercial and strategic decision making.
